Deirdre Murphy is a Senior Associate in Ogier Leman’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team. Deirdre advises a range of clients engaged in complex litigation before the High Court, the Commercial division of the High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. She has extensive experience in advising financial institutions on the enforcement options available to them and on advising directors and shareholders in corporate and shareholder disputes.

She also has experience advising financial institutions on High Court/Commercial Court litigation arising from enforcement action, including judicial review and injunction proceedings, plenary and summary judgment proceedings and other actions.

Deirdre also has considerable expertise in corporate restructurings (solvent and insolvent), insolvency (contentious and non-contentious) and has advised both Irish and international Insolvency practitioners, financial institutions and investors in restructuring or business termination events.

Deirdre joined Ogier Leman after nearly ten years with a Top 5 commercial law firm in Dublin. She is a graduate of the National University of Ireland, Galway where she received a bachelor of Arts in Legal Science and Irish. She also has a Diploma in Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency from the Law Society of Ireland.

About Dee Murphy

Dee is a native of Waterford and emigrated to Dublin back in 2011. Dee was a keen tennis player back in the day but has recently switched her tennis racket for golf clubs. A lover of all sports, Dee can often be found in Croke Park or the Aviva depending on the time of year.

At weekends, Dee loves to meet up with friends and sample Dublin’s newest eateries. Dee also loves to travel and experience new cultures and is always planning where to go next.
