New Head of Employment for Ogier Leman and two Senior Consultants to join Dispute Resolution and Real Estate Teams.
Ogier Leman is pleased to announce the appointment of three new significant hires for the firm.
Bláthnaid Evans will join Leman as Head of Employment, Shayne Foley will join as a Senior Consultant on the Real Estate Team and Elaine White as a consultant for the Dispute Resolution Team. All new appointments take effect from 4th June 2018.
Bláthnaid Evans joins the firm from Matheson where she worked in their employment team for four years. She has 10 years of experience in contentious and non-contentious employment as well as pensions and benefits, and health and safety law.
Leman’s Real Estate Team sees Shayne Foley join. Shayne has over 20 years’ experience as a property lawyer and undertakes a wide range of commercial property work with expertise in dealing with retail, occupational and investment work, sales and purchases, landlord and tenant issues and development work. He also acts on property aspects of corporate transactions. Shayne Foley is recognised by the Legal 500 2017. “Clients single out Shayne Foley for his ‘commercial understanding’”. Shayne previously worked in Keystone Law and Pinsent Masons in the UK and is qualified to practice in England, Wales as well as in Ireland.
Elaine White joins the Dispute Resolution Team with over 10 years’ experience as a litigator in both Ireland and the UK. Elaine previously worked with leading law firms, William Fry in Dublin and with London based International law firm Salans (now Dentons).
Leman is one of Ireland’s fastest growing commercial law firms, growing at a rate of 15% year on year. These appointments are part of Leman’s current recruitment drive. Leman is also currently seeking applicants for seven other positions across the corporate, real estate and litigation teams as well as business support roles.
