Ian is a technology transformation leader and CTO/CISO, by another name. Ian is the firm’s digital strategy leader who must find, manage, and champion what’s new for the firm and clients — before everyone else does.

Ian will further integrate digitisation for Ogier Leman and will focus on newlaw, including new business lines such as legal consulting services.

Ian’s digital background is key. Ian has consulting skills and experience that help with the C-suite, and can analyze new technology and services with an investor’s eye. Ian’s communications background helps to advocate the new solutions and services.

In his role as COO, he also manages the business operational aspects. He brings nearly 25 years of experience in technology development, implementation and infrastructure. Recently he has advised a number of firms on target operating model for technology transformation to the cloud, and also advised on risk and compliance technology and process automation.

A Computer Science graduate of University College Dublin, Ian spent ten years working in the United States, becoming VP of technology engineering with leading investment banks Credit Suisse and ING followed by more than ten years in London as CTO with global asset management and FinTech firms including Fauchier Partners and London Diversified Fund Management LLP (LDFM). Prior to LDFM, Ian held a variety of technology roles at global firms, including McKinsey & Co and Align.com.
