Available Role: Operations Executive

Leman Solicitors is looking to hire an Operations Executive to join the Management Team. The Operations Executive will support three vital functions within the organisation; Finance, Marketing and Human Resources. As a result, the role will cover a broad range of responsibilities in a fast- paced environment. Responsibilities will include:

Marketing & Business Development

  • Developing marketing materials and literature;
  • Implementing the Leman advertising strategy;
  • Event management support to include client entertainment;
  • Social media management; and
  • Assisting with CRM.

Finance

  • Assisting in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions;
  • Updating and reconciling sales, purchase and nominal ledger accounts;
  • Recording of income and receipts and reconciliation preparation;
  • Completing monthly reconciliations of the firm’s accounts; and
  • Performing monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations.

Human Resources

  • Assisting our HR Manager in the recruitment process; collating CV’s, responding to applicants, posting job adverts on various boards and websites.
  • Implementing induction plans for new starters in line with ISO standards.
  • Liaising with IT provider to ensure new starters are set up on all systems.
  • Ensuring that the firm adheres to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Providing administrative support to HR function; contracts, handbook, performance reviews, education, training & development.

Beyond this, there are a number of knowledge and experience requirements for the role:

  • Third level qualification essential, qualification in business or marketing an advantage;
  • Strong writing skills essential for creating brochures, presentations, writing for the web and social media;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Multitasker with a general can-do attitude;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Hard working self-starter with high motivation and the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team;
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise;
  • Organisational capability and high levels of personal effectiveness; and
  • Strong IT capability, in particular advanced MS Word, Excel, & Outlook skills, and the ability to work efficiently with multiple systems of information.
